The first three photos are bits of the last photo!
Photos taken in front of the Government House in Victoria, BC.
I was very fascinated by these pretty water droplets!!

I am currently at Vancouver Airport, about to embark on my flight to Beijing. I just wanted to make a blog post before I leave Canada.

gingko
I've been wanting to take photos of gingko trees (银杏树) since I came to Beijing because I've heard of how lovely they look when their leaves turn yellow during autumn season. Yesterday I finally got to do this while I was wandering in a large "forest park" in Chaolai area, Beijing!
Yellow can be such a pretty colour!

among the sprinkles
A photoshoot of cake sprinkles and two little Matryoshka =)
Stayed home today and did not do anything productive in terms of academic work! Instead, I had a nice day finishing a historical fiction novel, watching a French movie (Tous les matins du monde), baking a cake, and doing this macro photoshoot!

tat tat tat
It rained heavily this afternoon while I was at work. Since I had my camera with me today, I got to take some photos during the rainfall. Since our office is located on the top floor of the building, I got to take the following photos from the office's roof windows!
I love heavy rains and thunderstorms when I am inside!

Czech countryside
Here are some photos taken during stay at Podhradi, a small Czech village near the German borders! I went there with my co-workers for 3.5 days and had a very fun time.
******
It was interesting getting to experience some of the Czech rural life and I am really grateful for the opportunity (especially as a foreigner to the country)! I also very much appreciated the times spent with my co-workers and bonding with them outside of the office environment. The weather was also gorgeous and it was simply amazing seeing so much grass and trees with the blue clear sky above! At night, I saw so many stars sparkling in the nightsky, and I think for the first time in my life, I saw fireflies! =)
This trip made me very happy!
