From the outside window of a chandelier shop.

On West Broadway. The blue lights came from the holiday lights hanging over the sidewalk.

On Granville Street Bridge. A multitude of colourful lights coming from the buildings and streetlights in front. Also some lights from the coming cars on the corner right.

I tooled around with Lighting Effects and Lens Flare on Photoshop. It's my first time trying these effects so I can't manipulate them too well yet. I tried it out on different pictures, but finally I am satisfied with only one.

This picture was taken back in October, while I walking to the grocery store one afternoon.

Spent the last day of the year 2010 with Yu and Su (family friends from Ottawa) and my parents!

Woke up at about 9AM. Jumped out of bed, took a shower and got ready for the day.

a walk in the park

Spent part of my afternoon walking at a park in Mountain View with my parents. I enjoyed the sceneries and it was a pleasant walk! Because it was sunny, I got to capture the sun light in my photos.

I am currently reading a good novel called Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami. I find his style of writing very beautiful. The story is filled with nostalgia, and although there is not much resemblance between my life and those of the main characters', I feel moved by the tragedies and happiness in their lives.

I've been wanting to do something like this for a while! Just got a tripod today for $17 and surely put it to good use, hehe!

Caught a glimpse of the sunset as I was heading towards the Vancouver airport.  

I am back in San Jose, CA, at my parents' place. A sunny day today, currently 15°C.

Walked along the pretty streets of Gastown on Sunday night. It was nice seeing holiday lights everywhere!
